Your Honeymoon: When Money Is No Object

What is Your Dream?
Consider yourself in heaven because you can now plan the honeymoon of legends. Time and distance are no objects, so dream away: A month-long safari in Kenya, a luxury cruise around the world, a Grand Tour of Europe, a trip down the Amazon followed by a trek to the top of Machu Picchu, a skiing odyssey that takes you from the luxury resorts of Colorado to the best of the Alps, your choice of tropical island fantasies, a romantic suite at the Ritz Carlton in Central Park, anything you want. The question, of course, is what is your dream? What is your dream location? Your dream accommodations? Your dream activities? And how does your vision coincide with your fiancé’s dream honeymoon?

First Class Travel
When money is no object, you can increase the romance at every level. So, consider how you will get to your destination. With air travel becoming more and more restrictive, crowded, difficult, and frustrating, you may consider renting a private jet to take you to your destination. If not, at least book first class seats if available. Getting to and from the airport by limousine is the way to go. Your driver can take you straight from the reception to your private jet without the delay and frustration of waiting for hours in a crowded airport. Champagne and flowers can be waiting for you both in your limousine and in your private jet.

If you are taking a luxury cruise, you have the choice of the best cabins on the ship. Why not book the largest and best-appointed suite with its own balcony and luxurious bathroom?

Hotel or Rented Home
The best honeymoon destinations also have the best places to stay, from the magnificent New York hotels where fine service is an art form to the dazzling new, state-of-the-art hotels in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. If money is no object, a honeymoon can be spent either in one of the world’s top hotels where your every need is met, or in one of the magnificent homes that can be rented fully furnished. Often these homes come with wait staff. Consider this option in such places as Lake Como or the hills of Tuscany, Lake Geneva, or in the Bavarian Alps, on the white beaches of the North Carolina Outer Banks, or on the getaway islands of Martha’s Vineyard, or the keys and small islands around Miami. Staying in a luxury 15th Century castle in Ireland is a dream alternative to a luxury suite in a five star Dublin hotel. When money is not object, the choice is all yours!
